Gil died at 12:30 today, Easter Sunday. He had about a half hour of eyes off and on open, perhaps some recognition. Chris's recording of our chimes and rooster crowing seemed to bring him back to the room and then he let go.

David and I were thinking and talking about Gil tonight. We then checked the blog to see how things were going. We were extremely sad to see the news. Gil was an amazing person. Our lives have been made more joyful for having known him. Please let us know how we can help you.
